As a long established practice in East Anglia, we have a wealth of experience as both residential and commercial property surveyors and an unrivalled knowledge of the local area.
We are proud of our reputation for high quality service in a wide range of property matters and offer our own unique service guarantee.
Our experienced team of surveyors work from three locations across the region and is led by two directors:
Paul Muscutt BSc (Est. Man) MRICS, Director
Paul moved to Cambridge in 1984 from the North-West after gaining a BSc in Urban Estate Management. He joined a local firm of Chartered Surveyors giving him a wide experience in property matters and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1987. He joined Westley & Huff in 1988 to open firstly the Huntingdon office and then Peterborough in 1992. He is now the Partner in charge of the Huntingdon and Peterborough offices and specialises in residential property matters.
David Sparrow BSC (Hons) MRICS, Senior Surveyor
David joined Westley & Huff in April 2013. He qualified in 1998 following a degree course at Northumbria University. He worked in a practice in Newcastle before moving to a firm in Guildford in 1999 where he gained a wide experience in both traditional residential surveys and valuations. He worked in a Building Consultancy department of a large national company in their Cambridge office from 2002 where he gained wider experience of a broad range of residential and commercial property including building surveys, refurbishment projects, dilapidations and party wall matters.
Barbie started at Westley & Huff in 1984. She is responsible for the day to day running of the office whilst the Partners are out and takes charge of accounting and administration matters. Barbie will be happy to advise clients on the type of survey they require and take instructions accordingly.
Remembering Bob Sadler FRICS, Director
With great sadness we mourn the passing of Bob (Robert) Sadler. Anyone who knew Bob will have appreciated the enormous personality, warmth and enthusiasm that made him such a well-loved figure. As co-director here, he and Paul have led our team for many years. Proving a sterling service and putting in the extra mile, was very much Bob’s way of working and that ethos has become the mark of our business.
Bob celebrated forty years with Westley and Huff last year. He was renowned for his interest in, knowledge and love of old buildings. He was widely respected in the region’s property and surveying world for his expertise and passion in this field.
All at Westley and Huff are mourning his loss. We send our deepest condolences to his family and to his many, many friends. As a businessman, a sportsman, an educationalist and all-round exceptional individual, we know his influence and impact will continue to extend far and wide.
Rest in peace, our lovely Bob.
